Danielle Dunn-Morris - Actra/Equity/ UBPCReceiving a degree in Education from the University of BC where she majored in Theatre with an emphasis on directing and winning a scholarship to attend The Banff School of Fine Arts studying acting, speech, movement and directing. She then moved back to Kamloops and worked with Tom Kerr being one of the original performers of the Western Canada Theatre Company. Danielle eventually became Artistic Director of two Theatre Companies: Shuswap Summer Theatre (1989 – 1996) directing Sylvia by A.R. Gurney and Seduced by Moonlight by Claire Harrison/Clive Doucet WaterMark Theatre (1993 – 1998) directing Two White Chicks Sittin' Around Talking by John Ford Noonan and Moon Over The Brewery by Bruce Graham. In 2002 Danielle was hired by the Thompson Valley Players to direct their spring production. Liking her work, the group hired Danielle to direct for two more years (2003 and 2004) where she directed two original plays using the local talent here in your town of Barriere. In March 2004 Danielle was in Western Canada Theatre's Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun by Norm Foster . In the of summer of 2006 Danielle played Elizabeth 1 in Timothy Findlay's Elizabeth Rex for Project X. Moving to Kamloops in the year of 1999, Danielle opened River Magic Productions , a company that specializes in private acting lessons. Since becoming professional Danielle found an agent and has been featured in five films and a popular TV series: In 2003 An Unfinished Life; 2004 Riding the Bullet and Fantastic Four; 2005 Truth, Da Vinci'c Inquest and Presumed Dead. Danielle's latest project is a Radio Play Series called The Adventures of Milly and Tilly. CD number two has just been completed.
Danielle Dunn-Morris is an experienced, versatile performer, director and educator with a desire and ability to share her knowledge and performing skills with audiences everywhere.
